Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How often and at what time should I take my dose?

Following the research of peer-reviewed Dr. James Fadiman, our recommended protocol is: take one capsule, skip two days, and repeat. Microdosing often creates a boost of energy, so it is best to take your first dose in the morning to not disrupt your sleep. In some people, however, microdosing can create the opposite effect: a subtle tiredness. You will be able to better determine what time of day works best for you after microdosing for a week. Taking it on an empty stomach, or just with coffee, can result in nausea; take with a meal or snack.

Q. What else is in the capsule?

A bespoke blend of these complimentary plants: rose, lavender, ginger, sage, and tulsi.

Q. What is the dose per capsule?

.15 - .2g

Q. Are they vegan?

Yes, the capsule material is vegetable-based and the entire process of cultivation is done without animal products.

Q. I have never tried psychedelic mushrooms, will I hallucinate?

No, you will not hallucinate. It is possible you may not feel much effect at all, though most people do experience a variety of pleasant, subtle sensations the day that they microdose. The psychological and emotional benefits are cumulative and become most felt after 2-3 months of following the microdosing protocol.

Q. Will I build a tolerance?

No, you will not build a tolerance. Depending on how you feel, you may take a break from microdosing for 2-3 weeks after 3 months or you may supplement your microdosing protocol by taking a full dose of psilocybin mushrooms every 6-8 weeks.

Q. Where should I store them?

Store in a cool, dry, dark place.

Q. I am concerned that the effects will be too strong, is there a smaller dose available?

Dosages this small do not produce hallucinatory or psychedelic effects, the effect is sub-perceptual. You should not feel dramatically different after taking a microdose; the immediate effects are limited to subtle and often very pleasant sensations.

Q. I take an antidepressant, can I still microdose?

Microdosing does not interfere with the effectiveness of antidepressants and there are no known contraindications. Those diagnosed with Schizophrenia, Bipolar I and II, or anyone struggling with severe emotional instability should not microdose, or take psychedelics in general, as they can trigger distressing emotional episodes and cause more harm than good.
